bouvier jewellery at iley

Bouvier jewellery has finally arrived at iley and each piece is absolutely stunning.

Bouvier jewellery is created by Rebecca Raft and carefully handmade in Sydney, Australia. The Bouvier brand stands for sensual design, bold and modern with a neo-classical flavour. Rebecca's designs are inspired by beautiful objects washed up by the sea and by fabulous women from history.

Each piece is beautifully unique, elegant, stylish and modern and are ideal for everyday wear and formal occasions.

crochet throws at iley

I am so excited, as I have sourced two beautiful vintage crochet throws from Denmark, which I am selling through iley. They are gorgeous (I want to keep them for myself!).

Both throws, one with a diamond design and the other a flower design, are a perfect mix of modern and classic design. Both designs are very traditional, yet the sharp white colour provides a contemporary and stylish appearance.

These throws are perfect to place on the end of a bed, couch or chair. They will definitely provide a softness to any room.

Discovered via Remodelista, Texan Barbara Hill is amazingly talented. Lived and worked in South America and now in Mexico, Barbara has been involved in art and design for over twenty years.

Her designs are modern, simple and liveable - looks which I admire and I hope one day will reflect the interiors in my house. Oh, it's so nice to dream!

alexander & viktoria

These linen and velvet cushions are beautiful. Created by Swedish designers, Alexander Gistedt & Viktoria Nygren, the textile pieces are inspired by gardens in children's fairy tales. Whilst modern, the cushions also demonstrate aspects of old world.

lesley dilcock

I came across a book at my sister's house recently and as soon as I opened the cover I became completely captivated and could not put it down!

"Global Style: Exotic elements in contemporary interiors" is written by Lesley Dilcock and the photography is by Catherine Gratwicke. The images are gorgeous - stylish contemporary interiors with global influences.

Lesley Dilcock was one of the founding members of the UK edition of Marie Claire, becoming its first fashion director in 1988. Clearly, she still has a good knack with design and style more than 20 years on!

I gravitate towards interiors that encompass global design - so creative, unique, eye catching and symbolic. This book is simply divine!

mark tuckey

I have been adoring the furniture Mark Turkey creates for quite some time. I even occassionally find myself popping into his Melbourne store to browse his beautiful pieces and imganing them in my own house one day!

With a team of 15 experienced furniture makers, Mark Tuckey designs and creates original furniture (chairs, tables, cabinets, beds, storage, etc) from new and recycled, predominately, Australian timber.

If you haven't come across Mark Tuckey furniture (I am forever finding his pieces in homeware magazines), then it is well worth visiting his website and even his store (if you're located in Melbourne or Sydney).

I hope your enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I do!
